Big Bang is the annual fundraiser for the California Academy of Sciences, and plays a pivotal role in keeping the museum an iconic San Francisco institution. Big Bang: Next Wave looked to raise funding for Hope for Reefs, one of the Academy’s three main initiatives (alongside Thriving California and Islands 2030), which focuses on keeping existing reef environments healthy while also discovering new ways to restore and regenerate coral.
